We all encounter stress in our daily lives that at times can be difficult to manage – affecting the health of our body, mind, emotions and spirit. This is especially timely as everyone is being challenges by the global COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, many people have experienced traumatic stress due to circumstances such as: school/workplace pressure, prolonged illness/injuries, mental/physical abuse, bullying, conflicts, environmental disasters, poverty, racism and other forms of oppression.
Professional mental health care has limits because it is accessible to only a few. Practical approaches are needed that can help people, communities and even whole populations deal with managing their stress and health challenges.
The Interbeing Wellness programs provide online experiential education about healing, wholeness and peace in the individual, their families, their social networks and the larger community. Through skill-based educational practices, participants will learn how simple techniques can empower us to care for our own health and wellbeing and others despite what is occurring around us.
